I good got a cuisinart DLC-10plus food processor from a friend a she didn't have the instruction manual that it came with and I don't be sure how to remove the bowl from the base!!! If anyone has one and knows please determine me. Thanks.

I only bought a Cuisinart DLC-2011 earlier today. About 30 seconds into griding nuts (shells off, yes:), the evil started smoking, and it just died. Is there anything I can do about this? Or just take it back?
