Where can I buy a Saeco Aroma Espresso Machine in U.K. ?
Hi, I would like to buy a Saeco Aroma Espresso Implement (preferably 00347, Black) for less than £150 ($300). I live in the U.K. and am conclusion it hard to find any websites based in the U.K. or U.S. based websites that cutter to UK. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Unfotunately, none of those machines cart leave internationally for under £150. And Amazon does not seem to ship the Aroma internationally either

Should a use a espresso tamper with a Saeco Aroma espresso machine?
My car did not come with a tamper, nor does the manual allude to using one at all. Does anyone have knowledge with this model or have any advice. I have yet to use it. Thanks!!!
I've been using a intermeddle with mine and I usually get good espresso so I don't think it hurts... before I bought one I would flowing down the grounds with the back of the scooper and that didn't come out bad either. But based on how immature the "Terry's Tamper" I use is, I'm pretty unfailing a 53 mm would be the right size. Lots of other people online seem to muse over this too, and if we're all tamping the espresso, it's probably not the wrong thing to do!

I received it at a bring in around $300.00. It came without a pod adaptor. I found inside the box an empty container for 2 ceramic espresso cups pictured as included on the fa of the box. I got a pod adaptor by calling Saeco in Ohio. I primed the machine as usual and placed the portafilter. I pressed the contrive button to warm up the component, it stared leaking all around the portafilter. I found out that the the best quality or coffee has no exit out of the portafilter because of blocked tiny hole fundamentally filled with a small white plastic nob pressed in place by a sprout in the bottom of the portafilter. By disassembling the portafilter and removing the spring the leaking stopped but the eminence of coffee or pods is worse than drip coffee. The steam baton is dangerous because the plastic extension is so loosely attached so by any pressure from steaming it can revelation out. This is a similar problem to the first Hamilton Beach first espresso machine which made big noises all around.
Hey guys: My conclusion after playing with more than 10 conflicting machines from superautomatic to the cheap Hamilton Beach is the following:
Do yourself a favor and the hinterlands with a pod or capsule machine like Nespresso or Francis until you have enough money to move up to a Quickmill auto + a grider at least a Rocky. Mazzer mini or Compak is even better. This will conserve you a lot of headache dealing with a variety of junk machines at different prices. This is what I am doing now. No more experimentation with waste.

Update on 10/30/09: I found the value fluctuating so much and I am compelled to update my review. Reviews are generally presupposed for a certain price range. This is a great value under 200USD, about accurate at 250, and becomes expensive at over 300. In general, espresso machines are significantly more up-market than they should be.
This machine is easy to use and clean, and makes great espresso. It does not grit coffee beans so you need a stand-alone grinder or may buy ground coffee (for espresso machines). It has a small-scale footprint and is aesthetically pleasing. At about half the price of the fully mechanical Saeco Spidem Villa, this sure is a better buy.
